With Coachella happening the last two weekends and Nine Inch Noize (collab between Nine Inch Nails and Boys Noize) continuing to burn the house down with B-Stage songs remixes that do not disappoint, I figured…

“Hey, I haven’t done enough CD Digipaks, what’s another one?!”

I took a few days to dial in the awesome images coming out of Weekend 1 (Kraw, you madman you) along with others. As more elements came together an overall design came to the forefront.

First the colors – Red & Black with Greyscale. The front, back, and inside fold were trending hard to Red & Black so made sure to keep them good. The inside fold was interesting. It was originally all inline with the front and back panel, but had an idea to make it look like film with some of the LED red screen showing through the corners. Love the look.

The full inside panels were a journey between mixing colors, then ultimately making them all the same. It still feels a little wrong that the masterful shot that was taken of everyone on stage had to be adjusted, but the design was “demanding it” so, in these cases, you just go with it.

Another note on the inside panels, I was happy I could get the stage in there, one way or another. There is a through line where you can trace the stage edge from left to right and it makes the whole inside tied up as if it was that way at the festival.

With that, and going through the motions for the 8th or 9th time, we wind up with the best looking CD Digipack I have done yet.
