To make it short and sweet, most of my time getting and listening to music, I only got CDs. Knowing that Deviations 1 was a Vinyl only release, I didn’t pay much attention to it. Oh, how wrong I was for thinking that way. The collection of nearly 40 tracks is an amazing experience to listen to. However, there was an issue that needed to be addressed…

That issue beings a gapping dotted line space in my current NIN collection where this should be. With some help from a few people on the internet and aid from my wife, I fixed that!

The first part of the project are the CD Jackets. I decided to mimic exactly how Deviations 1 was pressed – 4 Albums with an A & B Side. This was further aided by the Image PDF that comes with the Vinyl release. With most of the image work done, it was just arranging them properly for a good look!

With the CD Jackets done, we can now move on to the part that brings this project all together – literally. With 4 CD Jackets, I wanted something to hold them all. Luckily, I was able to get a CD Sleeve pattern whipped up an it came out perfect!

I enjoyed the project, and love how it all works together to give me a Physical Component to represent this Halo in my collection.
